24 hours in salt lake city

thursday and friday last week went something like this.

thursday
7:00am - left boise for salt lake
1:00pm - arrived in salt lake
1:30pm - picked up lunch at the lion house pantry and had a picnic in temple square
2:30pm - nana's apartment on s. temple.
since spencer's nana was recently moved to a care center in cedar city we helped set up for the estate sale that was taking place friday and saturday.
4:00pm - surprise visit from aubry, and robin. who happened to be just 3 blocks away at hip and humble. robin was passing through on her way from ithaca, ny to salinas, ca. BONUS!
6:00pm - anniversary dinner at Sawadee (2 days early). AMAZING. recommended by miss aubry. the thai pork bbq was incredible. we literally discussed ordering another plate after we'd finished the first. this will become a staple on all future visits to slc
8:00pm - diet coke at the maverick, and a quick walk through ikea
9:30pm - back to aubry's in n. salt lake

friday
8:00am - breakfast with aubry at tulie bakery. AMAZING and so perfectly quaint.
yet another slam dunk by aubry.
9:00am - estate sale at nana's
10:30am - a walk in the avenues
(i want to live in this house!)
12:00pm - quick stop at nordstrom rack and lunch at whole foods
6:00pm - back in boise

whew.
happy 6th anniversary spencer. i'm pretty sure we celebrated in there somewhere.

possibly the best 24 hours of my life. seriously. couldn't ask for more, better, happier, lovelier, prettier, funnier, sunnier times.

... except for that awful movie we watched and the 25 minutes of un-fast-forwardable previews.
