A week in Boise

Since we weren't all able to make it home for the break, I had to make an early January visit to Boise. It was so fun to spend time with Mom and Dad and Tanner. We played games a ton, we went bowling with Grandma and Grandpa, (Grandma won of course). We went to Givens hot springs and had the whole pool to ourselves and I even got a licorice rope on my way out, LOVE IT! We celebrated Dad's birthday and met him for lunch at HP. Mom and I decorated and shopped and decorated some more. We changed Nate's old room into a guest room, and it looks great. For those of you that saw how Nate decorated, or didn't decorate, you'll appreciate the difference, love you Nate! We painted and got new blinds and bedding and accessories. You all know how I love a good project. We spent an afternoon in BoDo which was so fun to see, Boise is really changing and revamping the downtown. There is even an Anthropologie opening there at the end of the month.
I was able to see my childhood best friend Katie, and I got to spend Saturday night with the girls, Cindy, Tenley and Stacy. We missed you Abby and Kelsey. It was great to see everyone doing so well, Cindy with the same out of this world giant heart, Stacy's killer laugh, and Tenley's adorable little growing "Bear."
And to rap up a great week, Cindy ended up being on my flight from Boise to Salt Lake on the way home. What are the chances, but it was so fun to talk with her the whole way. The poor guy sitting next to us got an ear full of girl talk.

Well, there's nothing like going home to recharge and be inspired to be better. There have been so many good and real and fun people in my life. It was fun to see you all, and thanks for making it a memorable trip home.
